RETREAT INFORMATION

Lunaris Oasis is a refuge or sanctuary from the myriad challenges of our modern world. It is a space dedicated to reconnecting to potential and to grounding one-Self. Your retreat will be unique and authentic, one we will co-create together. This can take many forms; a self-led retreat, an artistic or professional retreat, or simply a space to reflect, meditate, or commune with the natural world. This sanctuary is dedicated for you to realize YOUR authentic journey.

Co-creating your retreat can include therapeutic breathwork, ancestral lineage healing, Earth based medicines, food as medicine, acudetox, yoga, meditation, hiking, communing with nature and/or forming a closer relationship to your spirit. The space at Lunaris Oasis provides a wild open landscape to be still and listen, when quiet and solitude is what you need. 

I will provide nourishing, locally sourced meals and snacks that align with your dietary needs. As well as coffee and tea sourced from the highest quality roasters and tea purveyors. 

If there is a request for your time here that I can not fulfill, I have friends and teachers close by who are able to accommodate. Let’s chat to see what’s in your heart.

SPACE

You will have your own private space, a fully equipped camper with comforts. A queen size bed with down bedding, hot water, temperature control, and stove. All retreat sessions will be held in the yurt, on the land, or in the mountains. Again, your journey is yours to create.

You are also welcome to sleep in the yurt. It is a 20’ yurt with plenty of light, with views of mountain ranges in all four directions. Close to the yurt is a clean, accessible outhouse.

You'll have access to a communal wood-burning sauna and private outdoor clawfoot tub!

ABOUT THE LAND

Lunaris Oasis sits on 13.3 acres on the slopes of the Ortiz Mountains, just off the historic  Turquoise Trail, 30 mins SW of Santa Fe, NM. From the slopes of the  Ortiz Mountains we look out onto the Santa Fe valley, and across to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This is the land of the Tewa/Cochiti/San Felipe/Pueblos, where I humbly walk and call home. It is high desert with beautiful Juniper, Piñon, low brush, and cacti. It’s incredibly quiet, calm and peaceful. The views from anywhere are spectacular. 

 

This land and I found each other during a monumental transition in my life and I feel held in ways I would not have imagined. We are completely off-grid, but have everything needed. Potable water is delivered 1000 gallons at a time, enough solar electricity to power the necessities and urine diverting composting toilets (don’t worry it’s not as scary as it sounds). Oh and really great wifi, if you desire. Most of the time the windows are open and I am kissed by the cool New Mexico land breeze. However, it does get quite hot and cold. For the winter months, we have propane heat in all of the structures. The way I live here has a low impact on the land, and I am trying to give back to the Earth as much as possible. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. 

 

Apr-Oct are the best months for visiting with July being the hottest

June-Aug monsoon season (heavy sporadic rains)

Nov-Feb are quite cold

Mar-Apr high winds

 

GETTING HERE

Flying to Santa Fe would be the easiest, but Albuquerque would most likely be less expensive. No need to rent a car, but are welcome to if you feel you’d like your own transportation. There is a train from ABQ to Santa Fe and I could pick you up at the station. Optional pick up at ABQ for an extra cost. 

Driving here is easy as we sit pretty close to both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. If you are coming with friends, carpooling is preferred.
